So we’ve got a revamped Kickstarter campaign with some amped up rewards to share with you.

simple… to make more bread and get our loaves closer to you.

Friends, Fans, Supporters, Good People…
We say come on over this Sunday and raise a glass at our amazing new (almost complete) food workshop. We’re breaking some bread and previewing tasty bites from SCRATCHbread’s hot toast menu at our walk-up retail window (toasted stuffed savory muffins, griddled chai sticky buns, and other morsels of deliciousness). We’ll have Brooklyn Soda Works’ latest seasonal soda on tap, wine courtesy of Chestnut restaurant, and work some super local produce from BK Farmyards into the mix.
We’d be tickled to see you, and spread the word!

So weʼve hit a few great points. Weʼve passed 5gʼs on the campaign and I’ve got the shop just about ready to start testing new ideas….CHECK out the photos of the old and new space on facebook. Weʼve also gotten a lot of great props and awesome write ups, including the super fresh Nona Brooklyn piece, Brooklyn Based, Eater.com, Village Voice, and awesome mentions coming up in Cooking Light magazine, PLATE magazine and perhaps a cameo at a Beard event soon (that’s a secret) well. We’re building a lot of momentum, but we need as many people checking out our campaign as possible… weʼve still got $20k to raise… eeeeeek! and Iʼve got nutthin without the success of this campaign. Thanks everybody.
We've got a new space… really.
I'm a little embarrassed, but feeling very proud. We just got thrown into a dryer and we came out ﬂuffy, dry and real f***ing hot. We had a few lies throw off our trust mantra, and we got screwed. But we decided to move on, and so move on we've done…
Here's our new space… this is SCRATCHshop. Itʼs our interactive food workshop. Lots of things are happening here that are gonna really benefit all of us very soon. Thanks for supporting us… You’re family to us. Because together, we are all SCRATCHbread.
What an awesome group of talented people just made my evening… Thanks to all my classmates, I hope you took the information you gained and will make many focacia babies… We covered some decent ground making several types, from thin and crispy rosemary, grey salt and olive oil, to a cracked out bacon, mustard, paprika fluffy crisp deliciousness…
I will return soon… I think I’m gonna try and start rockin a ‘morning amuse’ _breakfast goods class… I’ll let you all know when I can start the first class…
